Kazky Series Premiere Event

Soundscape Visions together with the Ukrainian art studio Aza Nizi Maza celebrates the launch of the collaborative

project "Kazky: the Fairytales of Ukrainian Children". Using large scale video art projection and original electro-acoustic music performed live, Soundscape Visions artists embark on a journey to create a series of immersive compositions based on the artwork by the children of the Aza Nizi Maza studio. 

Located at the frontline city of Kharkiv, the acclaimed studio is an extraordinary hub of creativity. Despite the ongoing bombardment, the child artists of Aza Nizi Maza collaboratively create epic-scale artworks that tell a story of resilience, humanity, care, and compassion through imagined fairytales. In 2026 Soundscape Visions teamed up with Aza Nizi Maza to bring these fairytales to life through immersive storytelling in a series we are calling Kazky (Ukrainian for "fairytales"). 

The event will culminate in the premiere of the 1st composition of the Kazky series and will include performances of other compositions by Soundscape Visions, a special presentation on both organizations, a video address from Aza Nizi Maza leadership and students, an excerpt from the newly-released full-length documentary about the studio, and a preview of the artwork to be featured in future compositions. Also featured is the guest presentation by Common Man for Ukraine about Ukrainian children affected by war and their program of trauma counseling retreats for children who lost at least one parent in the war.
